2008 SCHEDULE
Minidoka Memorial Hospital will be offering monthly Heartsaver CPR classes for $25.00 each, we also will have monthly First Aid classes for $25.00 and teach other AHA courses as the need arises. Healthcare Provider CPR is offered quarterly.
Heartsaver CPR & First Aid: Course Description-The Heartsaver CPR & First Aid Course is designed to teach CPR and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO) and First Aid to all lay rescuers, particularly those who are expected to respond to emergencies in the workplace. Participants include security gaurds, firefighters, police, child care providers and other lay responders.

Spanish Heartsaver First Aid and CPR: Course Description-The Heartsaver CPR & First Aid Course is designed to teach CPR and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO) and First Aid to all spanish speaking lay rescuers, particularly those who are expected to respond to emergencies in the workplace. Participants include security gaurds, firefighters, police, child care providers and other lay responders.

Health Care Provider: Course Description-The Healthcare Provider course is designed to teach care givers the skills of CPR for victims of all ages. (including ventilation with a barrier device, a bag mask device and oxygen, use of an AED, and relief of a (FBAO). It is intended for participants who provide healthcare to patients in a variety of settings.
February 21st, May 22nd, August 23rd and November 20th @ 10:00 am and 2:30 pm.
Safesitter Course: Safesitter is a medically accurate program that teaches boys and girls age 11 to 13 how to handle emergencies and basic care skills. This program is a 12 hour class and will be offered June 5th & 6th.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support: Course Description-This course you will learn by observing, discussing and doing. ACLS instructors will help you achieve the course objectives using the following approaches:
· Manage 10 Core cases through small group case based teaching
· Learn and practice key skills in BLS and ACLS
· Skills evaluation: CPR, airway and AED
· Class lectures
· Precourse written examination
· Postcourse written examination

CareLearning is now available to employees and must be completed by Septemeber 1st.
